SUSAN'S HOUSE

Susan's House was established in 2002, in memory of Susan Kaplansky. Susan dreamed of helping youth through art.
"At Risk" teens, ages 15 to 18, learn how to make beads, glass plates, necklaces, bowls and other decorative items which are then sold worldwide. The teens at Susan's House work under the guidance and instruction of adults, including some of Israel's most popular artists. They are not only trained for a potential career, but are also taught skills that allow them to create and follow their own business plans. The hands-on experience - coupled with personal attention and therapeutic support helps develop a sense of self-worth and teaches essential life skills needed to find their place in society.

Come visit Susan's House in Jerusalem, and you will be amazed at the beautiful works of art and jewelry that our talented teens have produced. Help support these teens find their path through artistic expression and learning skills that can empower them towards a rewarding and successful future. Your participation will help fuel the ongoing goals of Susan’s House.
